The portal of Latgale region Latgale.lv got the certificate of excellence in the competition “Platinum Mouse 2007”

The portal of Latgale region Latgale.lv – Latgale Region Development Agency – got the certificate of excellence in the competition “Platinum Mouse 2007” organized by the Latvian Information and Communications Technology Association (LICTA).


The certificate of excellence was awarded to the system of general-record keeping, document turnover and meeting administration in Daugavpils Regional Council – Daugavpils Regional Council, electronic services of Jēkabpils Information Centre for inhabitants and employers – Jēkabpils City Council, “Electronic Data Exchange and Working-out of the Model of Competent Centres of Local Governments” – the Ministry of Regional Development and Local Government, CITYCREDIT – your account for small payment – Ltd “CITYCREDIT”, Mammadaba.lv – JSC “Latvian State Forests” and the portal of environment Ezeri.lv – society “Latvian Lakes”. The project of System of School Administration “E-class” got Latvian ICT prize the “Platinum Mouse 2007” under the notion of education, culture, health and sport projects. The ptoject www.skolotajs.lv also got the certificate.
In the E-governance and Services, Latvian ICT prize the “Platinum Mouse 2007” got the project “Electronic Tax Declarations System of the State Revenue Service”.
In the Business and E-commerce category, the project “First Internet Insurance System: If Online” got Latvian ICT prize the “Platinum Mouse 2007”.
The prize was presented by Ina Gudele, Minister for Special Assignments for Electronic Government Affairs, Astrīda Burka, director of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Industry at Latvian Ministry of Economics, Karina Pētersone, deputy speaker of the Saeima, and Imants Freibergs, president of LICTA.
The solemn ceremony of Latvian ICT reward “Platinum Mouse 2007” took place on November 29 at the Radisson SAS Daugava Hotel. Nearly 200 experts from the sector participated in the 9th conference.
The initiator of the awarding is Latvian Information and Communications Technology Association (LICTA).
The aim of the prize is to raise the sector’s prestige, to promote positive publicity, to inform the society about ICT possibilities and to promote the most important projects which are beneficial to the society. Nominees for the “Platinum Mouse 2007” were considered by an independent and competent jury. The chairwoman was Ina Gudele, Minister for Special Assignments for Electronic Government Affairs.
